Account Information

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Company name (for Contractors)
• Vehicle information and driver's license (for Runners)
• Password (stored in encrypted form)

Order Information

• Job site names and delivery addresses
• GPS coordinates (when voluntarily provided)
• Materials ordered and delivery preferences
• Proof of delivery photos

Automatically Collected

• IP address and browser type
• Device information
• Usage patterns and access times

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the PartRun platform
• Match Contractors with available Runners
• Facilitate deliveries, including sharing delivery addresses and contact info with Runners
• Send order confirmations, status updates, and notifications
• Process payments and manage accounts
• Improve the Service and develop new features
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in these circumstances:

Between Users

When a Runner accepts an order, they receive the Contractor's name, phone number, job site address, and order details. Contractors receive the Runner's name and phone number for delivery coordination.

Service Providers

We share data with third-party services that help us operate (e.g., email delivery via Brevo, cloud storage via Cloudflare R2, database hosting via MongoDB Atlas). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PartRun, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (MongoDB Atlas, Cloudflare R2) with encryption in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Update — Correct inaccurate information through your Settings page
• Delete — Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export — Request a machine-readable export of your data
• Withdraw consent — Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Order history and delivery records are retained for 3 years for dispute resolution and legal compliance. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. GPS and Location Data

GPS location data is collected only when you explicitly choose to share it (by tapping "Auto-detect GPS"). It is not collected in the background. Location data is used solely to facilitate delivery coordination and is stored with the associated order.

8. Children's Privacy

PartRun is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the platform or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
